There are some special weight considerations you will need to follow to make sure your balcony or landing can hold the total weight of the bed, soil and plants. You can eliminate some of the weight by using "light" soil, which can be bought at your favorite home improvement store.
All our raised beds are easily assembled and can be placed on dirt, gravel, concrete or asphalt. It is recommended that you use the deep beds when placing them on solid surfaces for better root development. All of the
raised gardening beds can be used on dirt surfaces as well for many years of enjoyment.
