You can grow vertically with the Gronomics Trellis Kit for your Raised Garden Bed kit. It saves space and maximizes your growing area by providing a way for you to plant your climbing plants in a place where they can grow up instead of out. This, of course, saves you precious ground space.

It’s a good idea to plant your climbing plants, like tomatoes, cucumbers, and beans toward the back of the raised bed right up against the trellis. This allows for maximum space savings.

Another thing to remember is to use string or twine to secure the plant vine to the trellis. Nylon works best because it is resistant to rotting. This will keep the plant from falling over into the other parts of your garden. Also, be sure to prune the offshoot branches to keep them from getting tangled with each other. As your garden begins to yield, you may want to create a sling of sorts to give your plants room to breathe while still giving enough support.

If you keep these things in mind, you will be amazed by what you can grow.
