It is not a huge stretch to see why
birding is so close to gardening. Both take you to a place in nature that soothes the soul and brings an amazing amount of peace and tranquility. So to be able to enjoy both gardening and the birds that you will see in and around your yard and garden just makes since.
One of the best ways to enjoy those wonderful feathered friends is to put up a bird house and/or and bird feeder. Both of these can be placed on fence posts or raised high with a metal post made just for these houses and feeders. Some people would rather watch the birds from afar but it is a lot of fun to watch them up close and personal.
You will be able to watch them take their daily baths, have a family feud or two, mate and set up house and end up with a few chicks in the house. It's all in good fun and worth every minute you dedicate to these wonderful creatures that occupy the earth with us. We hope you enjoy the birds as much as we do.
