This fabulous 4'x6' Mini Greenhouse by Guardent is a great answer to the problem! The small greenhouses come in many sizes and can be placed on decks, patios, balconies and even in sunrooms. You will need to make sure the space will support the weight (estimated at 1300 lbs [590 KG]) of the greenhouse, soil and plants. You can reduce the weight (650 lbs [295 KG]) by using a lightweight soil that can be found at your local gardening center.

Each green house comes with a film that helps extend the growing season by protecting your plants against frost in late fall and early spring. If you live in an area that has problems with other critters like rabbits, birds or deer, you can also get the pest netting made for this greenhouse to deter these unwanted dinner guests.

When choosing your size, make sure the mini green house will fit into the space in not only length and width but also in height. The largest and highest yielding small green house is 4’w x 8’l x 43”h. You can choose from a standard depth or extra deep unit for maximum growth for you deep rooting plants.
